There were three nurses who went to heaven, and were waiting at the Pearly Gates so that St. Peter would allow them to enter.
The first nurse said, "I worked in an emergency room of a hospital. I have always tried my best to help patients, though there were times when I could not save someone. I think I deserve to go to heaven." St. Peter checks his records and lets her enter.
The second nurse said, "I worked in an operating room. The environment is very stressful and I have worked hard. There are times when we lose patients who are very sick, but that has never discouraged me from trying my best." St. Peter checks his records and admits her to heaven.
The third nurse says, "I was a Case Manager for a Health Maintenance Organization."
St. Peter checks his records. He punches some keys on his computer, browses through different files and finally says with a grin, "Greetings! You are eligible to enter Heaven - for a week!"
